We love our vintage cushion covers as we find them very special and unique pieces. Searching, we found fabrics or fabrics that were manufactured in the province of Barcelona, more specifically in the surroundings of Igualada. During the 19th century (1880-1980) this area was a pioneer in the textile sector and there were many factories. The fabrics that you can find in our covers were used in the majority for the manufacture of mattresses, which unlike Europe, these fabrics attracted attention due to their colors and motifs. From colors like pink, yellow, blue, lilac, green … to floral, striped, oriental …
Cushions made with 19th century fabrics. We wanted to give a second life to all these fabrics by reusing and recycling them to create special and unique collections.

PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING:
It is not easy to find these mattresses or fabrics since most factories are closed and we assure you that there is an exhaustive search behind them.
Then comes a second phase that as they usually come from mattresses is time to cut, rescue the fabric, remove what is not useful and wash it well. To give you an idea, for each mattress can leave between 5-8 cushions. Therefore they are very small collections and unique pieces come out.
And finally they go to the workshop to be sewn and create these wonderful cushions with these fabrics that are reused and recycled from the nineteenth century.
