We work with artisans who help bring our ideas to life
For a slow furniture
Respecting the Environment
We use wood from controlled and sustainable logging, sourced from European forests and certified by FSC and PEFC labels.
Materials with natural fibers such as jute, cotton, hemp, and others are sustainably sourced and mostly organic.
To add color or finish, our artisans or we use plant-based dyes and eco-friendly varnishes.
Reviving Traditional Craftsmanship
Today, many products are mass-produced; however, at Fhygge, we aim to revive traditional artisans. We collaborate with workshops that bring our designs to life, thereby rejuvenating the local and global economy.
Giving a Second Life
We love the idea of reusing materials to be as Zero Waste as possible. That’s why we always use recycled materials whenever we can, such as fabrics from old mattresses.
We strive to improve every day to build an inclusive, sustainable, and regenerative economy for people and the planet. However, we still have a long way to go. Fhygge is a very small project that progresses step by step, working to advance and correct mistakes.
Our Top Sales
Rugs and Cushions
You’ll find a selection of handcrafted rugs, each one unique. Their components, such as natural fibers, plant-based dyes, and geometric patterns, bring a fresh touch to any space. This style of rug has become a benchmark in decor for its versatility and durability.
Mix and match them to create your hygge space!
Mattress Fabrics
Our work involves rescuing fabrics typically found in mattresses, especially since factories are closed. Sometimes, we don’t have all the fabrics listed on the website, as collections are small and we don’t have time to update them. If you’re interested in a particular color or pattern, please ask us and we’ll provide you with the information.
